AAPI Intensive with Richmond Ballet

A collaboration between Gold Standard Arts Foundation and Ma Cong, Artistic Director of Richmond Ballet, this AAPI focused week offers dancers to train with celebrated AAPI choreographers, professional dancers, and master teachers. The week will include an all-Asian American faculty and feature the chance to learn choreography by Asian Americans, study Asian American dance history, info sessions for and by AAPI ballet parents, Chinese and Indian classical dance, in addition to ballet technique, pointe, classical variations and contemporary dance classes. By centering an Asian American experience, the intensive invites students to explore dance as a powerful expression of identity, culture, and connection in a rigorous classical ballet environment. Learn more about Richmond Ballet.
